Anodising & Metal Finishing Services
Effective Date: October 2025.
PART A – TERMS & CONDITIONS OF BUSINESS ENGAGEMENT
1. Definitions
Company: Absolute Anodising, provider of anodising and metal finishing services.
Client: Any individual, company, or entity requesting services from the Company.
Goods: Materials, components, or products supplied by the Client for anodising or finishing.
Services: Anodising processes provided by the Company.
2. Quotation & Acceptance
All quotations are valid for 6 months unless otherwise stated.
Acceptance of a quotation constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
The Company reserves the right to refuse any work at its discretion.
3. Orders & Instructions
Orders must be submitted in writing via email or official order form.
The Client must provide clear specifications, drawings, and required standards.
The Company is not responsible for errors arising from incomplete or inaccurate specifications.
4. Material Supply & Responsibility
The Client must supply materials suitable for anodising or finishing.
While the Company may inspect materials, it assumes no liability for defects caused by unsuitable materials.
All supplied materials must comply with Australian safety and chemical regulations.
5. Pricing & Payment
Prices are based on specifications, batch size, and finishing requirements.
Prices are exclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.
Payment terms are 14 days from invoice unless otherwise agreed.
Late payments may incur interest of 2% per month or the maximum permitted by law.
6. Delivery & Risk
Risk of loss or damage passes to the Client upon collection or dispatch.
Delivery dates are estimates only; the Company is not liable for delays beyond its control.
7. Quality & Inspection
Services are performed in accordance with relevant Australian Standards.
All anodising services provided by Absolute Anodising (“AA”) are undertaken with due care, skill, and attention to achieve high-quality results. AA makes no warranty or representation, express or implied, regarding the uniformity or consistency of anodising thickness, colour, or finish, except as required under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Variations in the anodised appearance may result from factors including, but not limited to, differences in alloy composition, extrusion quality, fabrication processes, and surface preparation. Such variations are normal characteristics of the anodising process and do not constitute defects in workmanship or materials.
Where previously anodised items are to be stripped prior to re-anodising or further processing, the customer acknowledges and accepts that:
o The surface may become matt or non-uniform;
o Base material thickness may be reduced; and
o Dimensional tolerances may be affected.
AA shall not be held responsible for any such alterations or any resulting issues with fit, function, or appearance.
Clients must inspect goods upon receipt and report defects within 7 days.
Liability is limited to re-performing the service or refunding the service fee.
8. Liability & Indemnity
The Company is not liable for consequential, indirect, or incidental losses.
The Client indemnifies the Company against claims arising from defects in supplied materials or non-compliance with specifications.
Total liability is limited to the invoiced amount for the specific service.
9. Intellectual Property
Designs, processes, or proprietary methods of the Company remain its property.
Clients may not reproduce or disclose the Company’s processes without written consent.
10. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality of technical, commercial, or proprietary information.
11. Cancellation & Returns
Orders may not be cancelled once work has commenced without written consent.
Custom or batch-finished items are non-returnable unless defective.
12. Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance
The Company complies with Australian WHS and environmental regulations.
Clients must ensure materials do not contain prohibited or hazardous substances unless disclosed.
13. Force Majeure
The Company is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, industrial disputes, or supply chain disruptions.
14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that State/Territory.
15. Acceptance of Terms
By placing an order or submitting materials, the Client acknowledges and accepts these Terms & Conditions.
PART B – PRIVACY POLICY
1. Introduction
Anodising WA Pty Ltd atf The JLF Trust t/as Absolute Anodising (“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal information collected from clients, suppliers, and website visitors. This Privacy Policy complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
2. Personal Information We Collect
We may collect:
Name, company, and contact details (email, phone, address)
Billing and payment information
Order and service history
Materials specifications provided by the Client
We do not collect sensitive information unless required for lawful purposes.
3. How We Collect Personal Information

Directly from clients via orders, quotes, emails, or forms
From our website via enquiries or contact forms
From suppliers or third parties regarding materials or services
We ensure information is collected fairly and lawfully.
